Joe Smythe has won the Boys U19 title at the North Island Junior Champs in New Plymouth!
The North Island Champs is a junior competition open to all grades and the draws are split into the various age groups. A huge contingent of 24 BOP kids attended the event over the weekend with some awesome results.
Joe Smythe from Devoy Squash & Fitness in Tauranga has followed on from his stellar year in 2020 to claim his first North Island U19 title at the age of 17. That completes the set for Joe, who has won every age group at this event. An impressive feat!
Squash BOP arranged a van and sent two coaches to support the kids. District Coach Robbie Wyatt, and Graeme Randolph were on hand to offer the players the help they needed and create a sense of a BOP family for the players.
