The inaugural Womens 900 Series has concluded with a full draw at the Mount in the last event. During the series 75 ladies tasted competitive Squash, with a total of 141 entries across the four events. The tournaments were open to ladies 18 year and older, and 900 points an under.
The series was proudly sponsored by NZ Home Loans and Intimo, and it was coordinated by the amazing Deb Boyd-Collins.
The players were also competing for the overall series top honours. Each player was awarded 5 points for each entry, 2 points for each match won, and 1 point for winning their division. At the end of the series, the top 5 ladies won $100 Intimo vouchers.
Feedback from the ladies playing has been so positive that we are planning a new series later this year or early next year... so watch this space!
