In an outstanding display of skill and determination, the Bay of Plenty Junior Quads team secured a historic win in the Qradrangular tournament in Hamilton 23rd and 24th March. Facing players from Waikato, Northland and Auckland, the BOP team dominated each match, defeating Northland 9-3 and Waikato 9-3.
The final showdown against Auckland proved to be the ultimate test. Historically, Auckland had always narrowly beaten BOP, but this time was different. With remarkable teamwork and precision, the BOP Juniors emerged victorious with an 8-4 win, clinching the Quads title for the first time in 14 years.
